One last pony Poirot commission from the ever so talented :iconcsimadmax:. The scene depicted here is from one of my favorite Poirot mystery, Dead Man's Folly. This is also one of the saddest commission I've asked for.

Monsieur Dénouement and Mrs. Literary Prose have just discovered the dead body of poor little Twist. She had been waiting patiently inside of a boathouse ready to play her part as the victim of a murderhunt set up by famous fiction novelist, Mrs. Literary Prose and by the members and associates of the Rich family for the local  Nightmare Moon Festival. (To get fuller detail, read Dead Man's Folly.)

Edit: Just to be clear, the Twist that is depicted here is in fact dead. She was going to act the part of victim, but actully became one.

Amazing to find that people (ponies) still know about Hercule Poirot! I knew who it was meant to be the instant I saw the picture.

The Doctor was right in "The Unicorn and the Wasp". People will still be reading Dame Agatha's books in the year 6 million. ;D

It is very heartening that Agatha Christie's novels are still well loved by people today; especially the ones that feature the great Hercule Poirot.

The Doctor was absolutely right when he made that statement.

Just out of curiosity, did you pick up on what novel the scene was being portrayed without looking at the description?

No, it's one of the later ones I haven't gotten to yet.

There are simply so many. I have the huge collection of short stories plus "The Underdog" called "Hercule Poirot's Casebook" as well as "Murder on the Orient Express" (the one parodied loosely in "MMMystery on the Canterlot Express", which I greatly appreciated.)

I also greatly enjoyed David Suchet's portrayal as Poirot. I don't think anyone could do it better. Not to mention, he looked exactly like Poirot!
